The Belly Off Diet, a Review

www.sbrforum.com – The bowl games for New Years Day feature several teams with coaching drama, as well as matchups pitting top Big Ten teams against top teams from the SEC and the Pac-10. The day begins with two teams that both feature fast-paced spread offenses, Northwestern as an 8-point dog against Auburn in the Outback Bowl. The Tigers prefer to run, while the Wildcats lean to the pass, but both play an up-tempo game, and a high-possession shootout could result. The Capital One Bowl features No. 11 Penn St as a 2.5-point fave over No. 13 LSU, and both teams outstanding defensive squads will be on display. The Tigers have a tremendous record in Bowl games in the 4 years theyve been coached by Les Miles, but that may not have any bearing on the likely outcome here. The 2010 Rose Bowl pits No. 8 Ohio St against No. 7 Oregon, with Oregon rated a 4-point favorite. The Ducks consistently gave awesome offensive performances throughout the regular season, led by multiple-threat mobile QB Jeremiah Masoli. But the Buckeyes bring one of the elite defenses in the country to the table, and it will be interesting to see if they can stop Oregon in a way no one else has been able to this year. In the Gator Bowl, legendary Florida St coach Bobby Bowden will coach the final game of his career. The Seminoles will need to get a boost from that to pull out a win, as they appear to be significantly outmatched on paper by No. 18 West Virginia, whom the market has made a 2.5-point favorite

The Belly Off Diet, a Review

The “Belly Off” Diet

The day after Super Bowl and all the festivities, eating, and drinking that this “holiday” requires.  Did you wake up all fuzzy headed, bloated, and hoarse from cheering on your favorite team?  Did you completely blow your diet plan that we all started on New Year’s Day.  Well, I certainly fell for the rivalry and fun and now am thinking of ways to get back on track with the battle of the bulge.

It is not too remarkable that one of the hot and spicy items searched for this morning was “The Belly Off Diet”.  This diet has been featured on the Men’s Health online community since 2002.  The “Belly Off! Club” has collectively lost over 2 million pounds since it was started.  This club achieved this phenominal feat by a combination of reducing intake of refined grains and sugar, portion control, exercise, and healthier eating.

The paper back book on this diet is scheduled for

Outback Steakhouse Bushman Bread Recipe

I was having a conversation with my friend the other day that the Outback Steakhouse Bushman Bread is probably more popular than their steaks, ribs and chicken. The Outback Steakhouse Bushman Bread is so deliciously good.

For those of you who haven’t tried it yet, you must! The Outback Steakhouse Bushman Bread is a dark, slightly sweet bread that is perfect for dipping in soup or having plain with tons of butter.

To make the Outback Steakhouse Bushman Bread recipe you will need the following ingredients:

Dough

1 1/2 cups warm water 2 tbsp melted butter 1/2 cup honey 2 cups bread flour 1 2/3 cups wheat flour 2 tbsp cocoa 1 tbsp granulated sugar 2 tsp instant coffee 1 teaspoon salt 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast cornmeal for dusting

In a large bowl, mix together all the flour, the cocoa, sugar, instant coffee and salt. In the center of the bowl add in your warm water, butter, honey and yeast.

Slowly mix all the ingredients together with a spoon

Ski Keystone, Colorado

Keystone Ski Resort is a personal favorite of mine! It’s easy to get to from Denver (couple hour drive west on I-70), has a really nice lodging and restaurant area called River Run, three phenomenal mountains, excellent bowls, big mountain restaurants, free parking, and easy access to Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Vail, and Beaver Creek.

Keystone is located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, stretches seven miles along the Snake River, has three mountains, 3,128 vertical feet, 3,148 acres of terrain, and three vibrant villages with shops, stores, bars, acclaimed restaurants, first-rate conference facilities, and wonderful accommodations to meet any need.

Dercum, the main mountain, is home to long green and blue runs and perfect groomers to keep you cruising all day. North Peak, rising to 11,660 feet, is for skiers and riders that love long steep trails or lots of bumps. The third mountain is Outback and

Amazing Keystone Colorado

As presented in www.FirstLightSports.com

Standing atop Keystone’s pristine mountain peaks at over 12,000 feet elevation, I stared in awe at the surrounding scenery. I’ve been to Colorado many times before and each time it takes me a while to ratchet-up my Midwestern sensibilities for the Rockies . At first the sapphire blue skies and the impossibly white snow of the mountain shocked and thrilled me. I had been at altitude for a full day already and was ready, breathing almost normally, for a full day of skiing at Keystone.

My lodging for this trip was a cozy condo in Frisco, Colorado . We had only a short 15 minute drive to Keystone’s Montezuma parking lot at the base of the River Run village. It was the Tuesday following a busy Presidents’ Day Holiday , and the lot didn’t seem too crowded at 8:30 in the morning. We trundled our group over to Keystone Sports where the manager, Chris, set us up with some skis for the day. The mountain was riding firm and

BCS Predictions: 2010 Auburn Tigers

The hiring of Gene Chizik as head coach of the Auburn Tigers may have been met with plenty of controversy and skepticism in college football predictions but it ended quickly when Auburn broke out of the gate with a 5-0 record and finished 8-5 straight up, 6-6 against the spread in college football odds, and with an Outback Bowl win over Northwestern. For many Tiger fans, the highlight of the season was a loss, however, as Auburn had hated Alabama on the ropes late in the Iron Bowl before the Crimson Tide rallied to win 26-21 and salvage their eventual national championship season. Online sportsbooks have the 2010 Auburn Tigers as 40-1 longshots in 2011 BCS odds to win the championship with a regular season win total at 8.5 OVER (-135).

Chizik was celebrated as a savior by the end of the season at Auburn and nobody was upset that he got the gig anymore. Chizik further distinguished himself in recruiting season by hauling in a top 5 class. With

2010 Auburn Football Predictions

Overall it was a pretty successful season for Gene Chizik in his first year as head coach of Auburn, as the Tigers put together a solid 8-5 season that included a overtime win over Northwestern in the Outback Bowl. This year the Tigers have 15 starters back, but must replace their starting quarterback, leading rusher, and top defensive lineman from last year. Here is a look at what the Tigers will send onto the field on both sides of the ball in 2010, plus my prediction on where they finish up the season in the SEC West.

Offense: Former Florida quarterback Cameron Newton is expected to become the Tiger’s new starting quarterback after leading his junior college to a title last year, but figures to get some competition from senior Neil Caudle. The Tigers are hoping that senior Mario Fannin can produce similar numbers to those that Ben Tate put up last season (1,362 yards, 10 touchdowns), and I believe he will do just that. Fannin is also a great

Outback Coconut Shrimp Recipe ? Recreate Your Favorite Restaurant Appetizer At Home

Do you ever go to a restaurant and order just appetizers? I sure do and whenever we’re headed to the Outback Steakhouse, I’ve got to have their coconut shrimp. Forget the steak, baked potato and chopped salad or the juice chicken, pork chop or whatever everyone else seems to order there. Just give me a big plate of coconut shrimp and I’m a happy girl.

Since I can’t convince my husband to take me out to Outback twice a week, I had to get creative and come up with a copycat version of my favorite dish. Here’s the recipe

Outback Coconut Shrimp

1 1/2 pound large raw shrimp
1/2 cup flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup ice water
2 cups shredded coconut
Oil for deep frying

Start by cleaning your shrimp. Peel, devein and wash your shrimp. Drain them and then pat them dry with a clean
